What is art licensing?

Artwork licensing is when you use my artwork for commercial purposes in exchange for a fee. Based on contract/agreement terms, you would use my artwork for a specific amount of time. There are different types of licensing options available.

What type of licensing do you offer?

I offer non- exclusive and exclusive licensing as well as buy outs.

A non-exclusive license is where you choose one of my ready made designs/patterns to be used on products to be sold commercially, in one item category (examples: wallpapers, pyjamas..ect..). This same design may also be licensed non-exclusively to other companies in same categories or others. The license will also be agreed with a time-frame, and location use (we will agree on the amount of time you will be renting this artwork for in the category you wish to use it for, and whether this would be used in just one country or worldwide).

Please also note that this design may also be sold on online marketplaces such as spoon flower, society6 ect.

An exclusive license is where you choose one of my ready made designs/patterns to be used on products to be sold commercially. You would have the rights to be the only one using this design in the product category you wish to use it for. However, I would have the right to license this same design to other companies in different categories. The license would be agreed with a time frame, product category and location. Once the contract term is over, you would have the right to renew the license.

Buy outs/ outright sales is where I would be selling to you the full copyright of my design. You will be able to do whatever you want with this design and I will no longer be able to use it.

Are your designs seamless?

Yes they all repeat seamlessly.

Can you design patterns from scratch to suit my project?

Yes I am able to make custom made patterns according to your project needs.

What type of files do you provide?

This all depends on your needs. All my patterns are vector based files.

What type of commissions do you offer?

How do you provide your artwork?

All custom work would be provided digitally at the size required.
